How do you change the Utility pattern?
Using System 7.5.x or System 7.6.x:
1) Open the Desktop Patterns control panel
2) Choose the pattern you want to use as the Utility Pattern
3) Hold down the Option key, the "Set Desktop Pattern" button will change to "Set Utilities Pattern"
4) Click on the "Set Utilities Pattern" button
If you are a MacOS 8.0 user, and you still have the System 7.5.x or 7.6.x Desktop Patterns control panel, this technique will still work, although it is unsupported by Apple.
